Leigh Anne Tuohy wearing Gypsy Soule Hard Hat on Extreme Makeover Home Edition

 

 

Gypsy Soule designed a custom hard hat for Leigh Anne Tuohy, the mom on "The Blind Side", that she will wear on the November 14th episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition and following episodes. The blinged out hard hat is a hand painted flower and cross Gypsy Soule design that is covered in Swarovski crystals.

Leigh Anne will be on two to three episodes of Extreme Home Makeover and wearing our Gypsy Soule hard hat and soule sister shirt on one of the episodes.

Gypsy Soule Designs a New Flip Flop “The Brandi”

Gypsy Soule released “The Brandi” a new flip flop inspired by and designed for Brandi Todd. Todd, a mother of two was playing with her children at a park in Stephenville, Texas March 14, 2010 when an unknown man stabbed her in the back leaving her paralyzed. Gypsy Soule Saddle Scholarship

Last January, Gypsy Soule® auctioned off a custom saddle and used the proceeds to fund a scholarship for one lucky Cowgirl. This badass saddle was hand-made by Cowboy Classic Saddlery and was designed by Gypsy Soule® and Gypsy Cowgirl®. It featured hand painted designs, real Swarovski crystals and a Brindle Tiger Stingray seat with inlay stirrups.

The scholarship was awarded to Midwestern State University freshman, Lanna LaShai Sharp. The Wichita Falls, Texas teenager currently holds a 3.5 GPA while working toward a mechanical engineering degree. She plans to continue her education with a graduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin and travel around the world building projects that benefit all of humanity.

Sharp is a member of the Pre-professional club, the Biology club and the Color-guard at Midwestern State University. She is inspired by those that chase their dream, “it tells me that I can achieve what I want.” Sharp expressed that her favorite quote is “you will never walk alone”; a quote she found in Elvish, the language that J.R.R. Tolkien wrote for his trilogy the Lord of the Rings. To Sharp, she said, it means “do not be afraid, because God is with you always… I have God on my side.”

The Gypsy Soule® scholarship originated to assist with college expenses for young women in the agricultural and western industry that have an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to pursue their dreams by furthering their education. We received over 200 applications for our scholarship. Lanna has a wonderful spirit, strong academics and very goal oriented. She is a great young lady and a perfect recipient of a Gypsy Soule scholarship.
